Sam Peter was a controversial winner over James Toney in their WBC eliminator. Now Peter is the mandatory for new champ Oleg Maskaev. Should the WBC permit Maskaev to have an optional defense against any WBC-rated boxer BEFORE the mandatory:
YES, let Maskaev go to Moscow or wherever he wants to fight some busboy and make some shekels and then set deadline for him to fight Peter
NO, Peter won the eliminator and now it's his turn to challenge the WBC champion. That should be Maskaev's first title defense
NO, but please God and Jose Sulaiman do not permit Alejandro Rochin and Dick Flaherty, the miscreants who had Peter ahead by FIVE POINTS, anywhere near a judge's position for Maskaev-Peter. Send those two back to the Golden Gloves novice divsion
